Artist Statement

As a product designer evolving my vision to art, I am introducing three-dimensional sculpture in the direction of interior wall art. Beauty, order, and meaning have been a core output to my design philosophy and process. My design direction has always been influenced by naturally occurring elements of light, wind, water, stone, and trees. The flat surfaces I create represent manmade materials that contrast with the natural elements that occur creating the form contrast highlighting the organic environmental forces of light, wind, and water.

The natural result I strive to achieve is a beauty in the end state of what the light, wind, and water have created ultimately delivering my interpretation. 

My works are empathetic to interior styles and other décor – there is a dexterity to the pieces.
